The Christian Lady And Her Choice Of Clothes: A Letter To My Sisters
My dear sister, do you know you DO NOT have to copy every dress style you see others wear? What is this long slit you insist on having in your dresses? At the back of your pencil skirts and by the side of your gowns.
I am speaking to you, sis!!
I have seen countless bridesmaids at weddings for instance have a slit in their gowns as high up the thighs that leave very little to anyone’s imagination. At church events, some ladies walk in and they themselves are uncomfortable because of their clothes. This is unacceptable. Let’s put a stop to it.
You went and bought a fabric and decided that you want to be almost naked after it is sewn? Why?
If the dress is already made, kindly check to see that it is what will be pleasing to God before you buy and wear it. Don’t give that excuse that you bought it already made. When you buy fruits you check to see if they are wholesome. How is your dress any different?
You are writing your own story even with the clothes you choose to wear. Don’t wear just anything!
With love,
Esther
